Thank you for your interest in the Milemarkers.  Our mission is to deliver the very highest quality Americana rock to the roaring fork valley.  Our skillfully crafted original songs have received praise from music promoters and musicians around the valley and beyond.  Our mix of cover songs is unique, fresh and familiar.  We are dedicated to giving our live audience the very best performance possible, our shows are energetic, well paced and musically diverse.

Hap Harriman
Legendary  guitar slinger Hap Harriman polished his remarkable playing skills over many years in the infamous Chicago music scene. He toured nationally and was part of Alice Peacock's band for a number of years. Hap is also a gifted producer, singer, songwriter, and studio cat.  A life long fan of the Roaring Fork Valley, Hap has finally parked his tour bus  in Basalt indefinitely.

Nelson Oldham
Nelson's musical influences come from all over.  â€œMy parents had a great record collection.  Elvis, Kingston Trio, Mamas and Papas, Blood Sweat and Tears, and lot's of showtunes.  I listened to that stuff all the time growing up.” Nelson emerged as a songwriter while performing in previous local bands, Midlife Crisis and the Redtones.

Aaron Taylor
Badaboomchicachica crack swish swish. Aaron Taylor began his whack whack swigatachicchic snorkie sloosh at family jam sessions at age 2. His grandma was so impressed by his time keeping that she doth declare "A drummer we do have!" 9 years later Aaron began rattatat buzz buzz ratamacue paradiddling his way through music with family and friends. BadaboomKaCHing ching smash beedabeedabeeda bop bam boom through school bands, jammin' sessions, family band, jazz bands, and local rockabilly bluegrass punk jazz scene! Currently Aaron is boombanging
bangswishwish pataflafla ridiculatat in Carbondale, CO, and loving every moment.

Doug Whitney
A long time Marble resident, Doug has played the bass with just about every great band in the valley over the years.  His most recent "big stage" appearance was with Bobby Mason at the Wheeler Opera House.
